I’m so excited to be in business, and making my dreams come true. It has been a huge life change for me, but I feel that it is what I was always meant to do, and I am thrilled to be doing it.
I come from a background of Fine Arts, and I have worked in Fine Art Galleries. I transitioned from gallery work to credit and collections when the economy crashed in 2008. I really missed working in Art Galleries because there was always something new happening, and it was a much more active lifestyle. As I mentioned in my “about me” page, I really enjoy being active and outdoors, so the gallery work helped with that- I would get to climb ladders to adjust light bulbs, hang artwork, sand walls, paint, sweep, etc. Credit and collections is a very sedentary job. So it was a difficult transition for me. I soon grew used to it though, and changed my habits to working out after or before my workday.
About 6 years into the new career path in credit and collections, I decided that I needed to take control of my career and make some changes. I’ve always heard from people older than myself that if you want something you have to go out and get it. So, I decided to put their advice into action, and make my own dreams come true.
After careful consideration, soul searching, and MANY conversations with Dave, I decided that a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting business would be the perfect use of all of my skills and my passions. I have always been an animal lover, and I would send pictures of adorable dogs and cats to Dave throughout the workday. So obviously something with dogs just made sense. I have always loved to be active, and outdoors, so walking is the perfect option. And, my experience in painting, photography, and sewing fit perfectly into my ideas for the business.
Just like that, Sea Spot Walk, LLC. was born!
